Vivere Milano: A Week to Immerse Yourself in Design in Italy's Creative Capital

What makes an immersion experience truly transformative?
It’s not just about being in an iconic city, attending major events, or visiting its most famous cultural landmarks. It’s the sum of the choices made, the curatorial eye, the purposeful pace, the right company, and a methodology that allows you to absorb trends in a natural, profound, and thoughtful way.

That’s exactly what Vivere Milano offers: an experience during Milan Design Week. A professional and personal immersion, designed for those who want to delve deeply into the world of design, architecture, fashion, and art—but also with time, breathing room, and inspiration.

Milan During Design Week: When the Entire City Becomes a Living Laboratory

During the Salone del Mobile and the Fuorisalone, Milan is no longer just a cosmopolitan destination. It transforms into a pulsating organism, with showrooms unveiling new materials, Renaissance palaces open to experimental installations, and entire streets becoming stages for art, technology, and ideas that shape the global market.

It’s the week when trends are born and where professionals, creatives, and aesthetics enthusiasts come together to explore new ideas.

The curatorial perspective that transforms walks into knowledge

Throughout the immersion, the group—which consists of no more than 10 people—is accompanied by architect Letícia Wassall, who guides the experiences with care, technical expertise, and aesthetic sensibility.

Walks through Brera, the Fashion District, and areas of the Fuorisalone are experienced as ways of interpreting the city: textures, colors, architectural language, window display arrangements, installations as narratives, material choices, and the use of space.

At the Salone del Mobile, the guided tour highlights new releases, processes, product solutions, and narratives from major international brands.
And there’s free time—essential for exploring on your own, taking photos, and soaking it all in.

It's not a rushed trip.
It's a trip to learn more.

An itinerary that balances technique, culture, and relaxation

In addition to the design tours, the week features a selection of cultural icons:

  • Duomo
  • Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II
  • La Scala Theater
  • Sempione Park
  • Milan Triennale
  • Vertical Forest

We also visited leading showrooms, such as Paola Lenti and the Rossana Orlandi Gallery, as well as experimental spaces that change with each edition, such as Alcova and L’Appartamento di Artemest.

It is applied knowledge, combined with sensory experience. Creators need to see, feel, walk, and reflect.

Gentle beginnings, celebratory endings

The immersion begins with a welcome drink overlooking the Duomo, to set expectations and bring the group together.
It ends in Navigli with a group toast that caps off a week of exchange, inspiration, and shared repertoire.

Between those two moments, everything was designed to convey depth, but also a sense of lightness.
